About Us
2022 was a significant time for St. Luke Church: our pastor of 26 years, David Tatgenhorst, retired in June. We are pleased to welcome our new pastor, Reverend Mark I. Salvacion. In November, St. Luke celebrated its 143rd Anniversary.

The Music
We also gained a new music director, Marcell Bellinger. His biography is available by clicking here. Music ranges from contemporary Christian to classical or traditional favorites. Pastor and Mrs. Salvacion are accomplished musicians and often join the music presentation.
St. Luke Activism
St. Luke is a founding member of POWER Metro, a non-partisan, multi-faith coalition working for equitable funding for education and a raise in the minimum wage in Pennsylvania.
The people of the United Methodist Church welcome all: we offer open hearts, open minds, and open doors.

In June 2022, we celebrated our seventh anniversary of the vote to become a Reconciling Congregation, officially welcoming all people, including lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender.
When you come to St. Luke, we hope you feel the presence of the Living God in the music, the message, and in the sense of community at our church.
